Civil Service Pensions Communication Strategy
Civil Service Pensions Division continues to work with Pensions Communication Network representatives to deliver the pensions communication strategy, which builds on the ‘Taking success forward’ programme developed with employers and consultants in 2003.
The strategy is aimed at scheme members and based on the three ‘A’s:
Awareness
Appreciation
Action
The report ‘Civil Service Pensions Communication Strategy – the first 3 years’ reviews activities and achievements against the plan, and sets out the strategy for the next two years.
Pensions communication network(PCN) PCNs meet to discuss communications issues and how they will take forward the strategy in their organisations. The groups meet every Spring and Autumn in a variety of locations including London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Liverpool and Birmingham.
The background to PCNs is set out in the HRDG letter [DOC 74KB, 6 pages] inviting nominations for the Pensions Communication Network.
