How do we work out your pension benefits?
Your reckonable service: classic, classic plus and premium only
This section of your benefit statement provides information about your reckonable service for you to see that we have the correct information. Please check your service information and if anything doesn't look right, tell your pensions administrator using the reply form. It is best to sort out any queries or errors as soon as possible rather than wait until you want to take your pension.

Preserved pension for previous Civil Service pension scheme service. If you have a preserved pension that you have not aggregated or linked with your current pension, your preserved pension details are not included in your scheme annual benefit statement.
- premium and nuvos members must decide whether to aggregate or link within 12 months of joining;
- classic members make their decision when they come to take their pension.
