03 July 2008: The yield used to calculate the AMC for July 2008 is 1.02% for non-Club and 2.00% for Club schemes
A factor which reflects the current yield on certain index-linked stocks and is used in the calculation of transfer values into and out of the Civil Service pension arrangements, by-analogy schemes and Public Sector Transfer Club schemes. From 1 April 2005 the actual percentage yield should be used for non-Club transfers. The procedure for Club transfers is unchanged, ie if in any particular month the percentage yield falls below 2%, a yield of 2% should be used for Club transfers. We will publish both figures.
